About TRI-FINE BTA System
The TRI-FINE system is UNITAC's flagship three-blade BTA drill head for the 25–65 mm diameter range. Three individually replaceable blades — centre (C), middle (M), and perimeter (P) — distribute cutting forces symmetrically across the full bore cross-section. This balanced load sharing results in superior bore straightness, reduced vibration, and significantly lower cutting forces compared to single-insert heads. TRI-FINE heads accept the 800-series insert designations (UT927, UT929) and are compatible with standard BTA drill tubes and connections. PROEDGE stocks complete systems including heads, blades, guide keys, and connection hardware.
