About UNIDEX BTA System
The UNIDEX system covers the large-diameter deep hole drilling range from 65 mm to 150 mm using the 1704RG, 2405RG, and 2807RG head bodies. Unlike the 800-series which uses individually shaped C/M/P blades, UNIDEX employs a standardised TX (perimeter), TJ (middle), and TW (centre) blade designation combined with separate TX-type guide key navigation. This allows a single blade catalogue to serve multiple head sizes. UNIDEX heads are the preferred choice for oil & gas drill collar production, large hydraulic cylinder bores, and heavy engineering applications where the workpiece size demands the higher-diameter BTA system.
