About BTA Drill Heads & Inserts
BTA (Boring and Trepanning Association) drilling is the industry standard for holes above 20 mm diameter at extreme depths. PROEDGE supplies two distinct BTA systems: the 800-series for 25–65 mm diameters using individual center/middle/perimeter blades, and the 1704RG/2405RG/2807RG system for 65–150 mm diameters using the TX/TJ/TW blade designation with separate TX-type guide key navigation. Deep hole boring heads in 38–180 mm diameter and pneumatic roller scrapers in 63–120 mm round out the programme. Our technical team helps you select the correct insert geometry, grade, and coolant pressure for your specific workpiece material and machine capability.
